Loews Philadelphia Hotel is hosting a
 "Save the Mosaic" HAPPY HOUR Fundraiser!!
at the SoleFood Lounge at Loews Philadelphia Hotel 

A 40 x 7 feet smalti mosaic, which now hangs at the Loews Philadelphia Hotel was set to be destroyed during their renovations. Designed by renowned Philadelphia artist Richard Watson, and fabricated by mosaic artisan Stephen Miotto, the colored and gold smalti mosaic has been a part of the Loews since its opening in the year 2000. With your help, and the help of the fabricator, the mosaic's artist, Loew's Hotel construction crew, and under the leadership of Board Member Nancy Frank, the mosaic is moving to The Creative and Performing Arts High School of Philadelphia!

A fundraising Happy Hour and silent auction is being held to raise the necessary funds to safely lift, transport and install the mosaic in its new home.

For those who wish to stay at the hotel the night of the event special rates will be available!
